Day 7: Adventureland strikes again.

Not much time to write because we both want to go to sleep. Mere and i went on an adventure today to spend some of my Michael's gift card. In order (because i dont feel like rearranging and all that haha)... (1) Mere and I in the car, (2) after the adventure when we were back in the apt and chris came over to visit. we wanted to take a picture of both of us with the boyfriends. haha. :-) (3) the caption on the top pretty much explains it but one of the things i bought at Michael's was some more paint. this section felt like heaven (along with the sticker and bead aisles) and (4) after 302082384987 attempts, i finally got a good one of Mere studying in the car. No worries that its dangerous to drive and take a picture, right??

Day 6: "You have your key, right?"

We think that today's "adventure" made up for our lack of picture for yesterday. Where do we begin? The day started off with some hard core studying. It took a turn for the worse when we decided we had been productive enough to take a break and run some errands. Emma needed to go to the store to get a notebook, and I needed to deposit a check, soo off we went. I made sure I had the check, and Emma made sure she had the keys...to the car. We got in the car, and turned to each other and said "You have the key, right?" Well, neither of us did. Strike 1. Recently we had some break ins at the surrounding apartments, so we made sure to lock the door. It seems, we forgot the important part of having the key to get back IN. In a frenzy we called the landlord to see if he had a spare key for us to get back in. When he said he'd have to go take a look and call us back, we could only see the worse possible outcomes. Emma would have to go to her mock interviews the next day in her pj's and I would not be able to study anymore for our exam tomorrow. All of our belongings were safely stowed inside our cozy apartment while we were shut out in the cold, and unfriendly weather.
We decided to not get too down, and go ahead and do the chores we set out to accomplish. Unfortunately, Emma left her purse in the apartment, so she was driving with no license. Strike 2. On the way to the bank, Emma's eyeglass lens popped out leaving her blind in one eye. She was freaked out, and I was afraid for my life, not to mention the screw that holds the lens in was no where in sight. Strike 3. We eventually pulled over and switched seats, so I could drive. Remember, I have no wallet, soooo I'm driving HER car with no license. Strike 4 We got to the bank, and I filled out the envelope and sealed the check in, only to realize that I had forgotten my debit card, so I couldn't actually put the check in the teller machine. Strike 5. (At what point do you run out of strikes, and just give up?)
Again, determined to see the positive, we thought of going to CVS, but as you may have noticed, we have no wallets which means no money, sooo that's a no go as well. Strike 6. The landlord (Mr. Lord, ooh the irony) calls back and says he found the key (YAY!!), but we'd have to drive all the way to his house to pick it up. Obviously we weren't going to complain or tell on ourselves that we'd been driving illegally. We made it to Mr. Lord's house, and retrieved the key, but got stuck talking to him for about 15 minutes.Mission Accomplished, or so we thought.
After spending 2 hours running around on what should have been a 20-30 minute errand run, we came home to get our wallets/contacts/keys. Now, off to run the errands we actually wanted to run in the first place. We called Amy and asked her if she wanted to go to dinner....she wasn't home. (what strike are we on?)
Apparently she had headed to Chick-fil-a to get dinner...............What day is it? This made us feel a little better about ourselves.
Anywhoo, after that mess, we came home and attempted to be productive students again, which was a complete failure.

Ooh, I forgot to mention, We're under a Tornado Watch until 1am. Good thing we were safe at our apartment, and not driving around in the torrential rain/wind.
Good Grief!

Day 5: uuh.... about that.

Day 4: We're awesome rappers....in the car.

"Early Morning" food run. Emma came back from class early and woke my sleeping butt up so we could to go Chick-fil-a. Needless to say, I look like poop, but Emma is cute and ready for the day.
Sorry this is sideways, I couldn't figure out how to rotate it. Today we sat around and painted/watched TV. It was a good day.

Day 3: Painting

Can you tell we love hanging out with each other? Haha.

Rainbow Colors! We are trying to take advantage of the fact that we dont have too busy schedules as of right now so we've been spending time painting and hanging out. We have one more week of the less stressful times, and then HELL is going to kick in. Arent they beautiful colors though?? :-)

This just makes us smile. Guess which shirt goes which person?

Day 2: Treats

After a long day of class/homework/project/stress/girl stuff, we decided we deserved something to make us happy.

Needless to say, the day clearly got better. Some stuff didn't even make it all the way home....
also, notice we were semi-healthy. Emma got bananas, so, that counts, right?
I spent alllll day in class today (from 9-3:30). In computer class Greer taught us how to edit pictures with GIMP. Although I already knew how to use it, it was still fun to spend an hour GIMPing pictures. This is one of my favorites. Elizabeth L, Michelle, and my hands making a star! haha. :-)
Anddd this is how I spend most of my evenings these days. Working on my certification to teach English class online (or not) and talking to Daniel. :-) and laughing and reading everything to Meredith. haha. Y eso me hace feliz! :-)
And how I am going to leave this tonight is this: BUENAS NACHOS! (...con queso...)
(right, hannah? haha. :-) )

Day 1: Our Last Semester Together

SOO Meredith and I decided to become part of this Project 365 thing but we decided we want to do it together rather than on our own. We both are going to be having difficult semesters and figured if we can both be responsible for it, one of us it bound to put something in it every day. :-)

plus its our last semester living together and we want to have it documented.

so the pictures we are including today are from one of our many cooking adventures that we have together. whats on tonight's menu? chicken casserole!

It looks pretty good.

It even smells good too!!

If you look closely, Emma made Chicken Soup in her water cup......gross, or delicious, you decide.

Before

After!
